Showing Up for Yourself

Hey friend! I'm sooo beyond grateful that you're hitting play and sharing your time with me. In this episode, my guest Rhonda Elkins and I chat about her transition from corporate sales to being an independent contractor. She now helps families secure their futures with financial planning. Listen in on our conversation as we discuss the corporate game, habits, money, security and social media.

Here are some of the key takeaways from our conversation.

1. Things become habits when we integrate them into our day. Combine your morning coffee with a gratitude practice, etc.

2. It's not all or nothing. Allow yourself to make incremental changes - they still add up throughout your day.

3. Don't depend on a company for your security.

4. Take an honest look at the "security" of corporate and evaluate the trade of of that regularly

5. Many people are scared to take that leap of faith but with consistent activity will eventually yield results. You just have to put in the time.

6. Show up for yourself like you show up for others.

7. Pay attention to how you feel every day.

Finally, just a reminder - I know insurance isn't fun to talk or think about it but all it takes is one diagnosis or one prescription to become uninsurable. Make sure your family is protected. If you’d like to reach out to Rhonda for her services you can email her at rlewinninginlife(at)gmail.com for more information or to get started.

As always, if you enjoyed this episode please help spread the word to more bad-ass women like yourself. 💕 Here's 3 quick ways you can help!
