1. Choose yourself - When you are pushed to a certain point by your employer, and it's been building over time, there's voices in your head that have just kept you staying put for so long...listen to that quiet voice that says it's time to choose me.
2. Know your worth - We find ourselves working day by day for years. Sometimes a moment, or interaction comes along that makes it clear that your time and talent aren't valued and you have to choose a path forward that celebrates your worth.
3. Start a career in modeling - Not on runways, but modeling behaviors and habits of our mentors. If you want an independent, successful, profitable and meaningful career of your own, then there is no better way than to study and emulate those that have already achieved it.
4. Knowledge without action is nothing - You can read every book, take every course, and watch every video, but if you don't gather yourself and put those lessons into action, change won't happen.
5. It's magic - The magic comes when you change your way of thinking. When you turn negative thoughts into positive declarations, you will be amazed at things that become possible in your life.
6. The time is never right - Our mind can make countless excuses as to why it isn't the right to make a change, or start a business, or invest in ourselves by learning new skills. But in reality, there is never a perfect time, and if you try to wait for it, all the opportunities will pass you by.
